Cancellation/Refund Policy

Introduction

At DAWAT E ISLAMI HIND AHMEDABAD, we sincerely appreciate the generosity and support of our donors. Donations received are utilized to support our charitable and welfare activities. We strive to maintain complete transparency regarding our donation and refund process.

1. Donation Cancellation

Once a donation has been successfully processed, it is generally considered final and non-cancellable. However, if you have made a donation by mistake or entered an incorrect donation amount, you may request a cancellation before the donated funds have been allocated to our charitable activities.

2. Refund Policy

Refund requests will be considered only in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate donation due to a technical or payment gateway error.
  • Incorrect donation amount entered accidentally.
  • Unauthorized transaction (subject to verification).
  • Donation made under a genuine mistake and reported promptly.

All refund requests are reviewed individually and approved at the sole discretion of DAWAT E ISLAMI HIND AHMEDABAD.

3. Tax Exemption (80G)

DAWAT E ISLAMI HIND AHMEDABAD is currently not registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Therefore:

  • Donations are not eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G.
  • We do not issue 80G certificates for Income Tax Return (ITR) filing purposes.

If a donor made a donation expecting an 80G tax benefit and wishes to request a refund due to the absence of an 80G certificate, the Trust may consider the request, subject to verification and approval.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact us within 7 days of making the donation and provide your Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, Transaction ID, Donation Amount, Date of Donation, and Reason for Refund Request.

5. Refund Timeline

Refund requests will be reviewed within 5–7 working days. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the amount may reflect within 7–15 working days.

6. Non-Refundable Donations

Refunds may not be granted if the donated amount has already been utilized for charitable activities, the request is received after the specified period, sufficient information is not provided, or the request does not meet the Trust's refund criteria.

7. Changes to this Policy

DAWAT E ISLAMI HIND AHMEDABAD reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the Trust's website.
